This year marks the 150th anniversary of the start of the American Civil War. To honor this historical moment in time, The Joplin (Mo.) Globe generously donated a great series on the Civil War to the Missouri Press Foundation, which, in
turn, offered to share the series with newspapers across the country, at no cost.
The Missouri Press Foundation has reformatted the series into 10 in-paper features and 10 companion activity pages. The series can be downloaded at www.mo-nie.com using the download code: civilwar.
Although the series is free, the Missouri Press Foundation always welcomes donations.
